Commando Lake gets new lifeguard chairs after donation

For more than 40 years, the lifeguard chairs at Commando Lake have been a familiar sight for summer visitors, standing watch over generations of swimmers. But time and weather had taken their toll, and the aging chairs were well past their prime. Thanks to a generous $7,200 donation from Agnico Eagle, the Town of Cochrane has now replaced both chairs with new, safe, and modern ones.
