COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Columbus Crew have signed midfielder Santiago Rodríguez as a designated player from Brazilian club Botafogo, the team announced Wednesday. The 26-year-old Uruguayan will join the roster upon receipt of his International Transfer Certificate and is under contract through the 2029-30 season with a club option for 2030-31.
