Colorado waits to see if released wolves will produce first pups this spring

Summary by Ground News
Wolf breeding season starts in mid-February, around Valentine's Day. Wolves are considered breeding age at ages 2 to 3. Of the eight members of the North Park pack, only two are known to be alive in Colorado. If the released wolves do produce pups, they will be the first ones in Colorado since two migrating wolves gave birth to six pups in spring 2021.
