Colorado State Patrol provides additional details on deadly crash involving cyclist in Grand County

GRAND COUNTY, COLORADO, JUL 5 – A 62-year-old cyclist ignored a stop sign and collided with a truck during the KowTown Gravel race, dying at the scene, officials said.

A bicyclist who was killed in a vehicle collision on July 5 has been identified as a 62-year-old man from Boulder, according to Colorado State Patrol. The crash involving the Boulder man and a truck occurred at approximately noon on U.S. Highway 40 near the town of Parshall, closing the highway for about one hour.
