SILVER CITY, N.M. (KRQE) — After a year-long search, Western New Mexico University's board of regents has officially appointed its next president. Jose Coll was announced as the university's 16th president. He served in the Marine Corps and as the provost for Western Oregon University. His presidency begins on July 1 under a three-year contract.
