Cold case murder suspect, Rubin Weeks, dies in custody

On Saturday, December 6, Rubin Weeks, an inmate with the Scott County Sheriff’s Office, died. Weeks, 63, was arrested April 29, for the 1986 abduction, rape, and murder of Shondra May. The cause of death is unknown at this time, but there was no foul play suspected.
