Coastal flood statement for Barnstable County until 2 a.m. Saturday – waves of 10 to 15 feet predicted

On Thursday at 1:03 p.m. a coastal flood statement was released by the National Weather Service valid from 6 p.m. until Saturday 2 a.m. for Barnstable County.The weather service says to be ready for, “Large breaking waves of 10 to 15 feet on ocean beaches. Some splashover on vulnerable coastal roads around high tide tonight through Friday night.”
