Coastal Carolina University Fires Football Head Coach Tim Beck After Three Seasons

On Nov. 30, 2025, Coastal Carolina fired head coach Tim Beck after three seasons, the school announced Sunday.
After Saturday's 59-10 loss at James Madison, the Chanticleers finished 6-6 following three straight defeats and were outscored 110-17 in their final two games.

Athletic director Chance Miller said Jeremiah Johnson will serve as interim head coach for the upcoming bowl game and framed the change saying `After a comprehensive review of our entire football program and its trajectory, I've determined a change is needed moving forward`.
Coastal will launch a national search immediately and aims to name a new coach for 2026; the Chanticleers should find out their bowl destination next week after consistent bowl appearances under Beck.
