Arrest for malicious destruction of property
Birmingham police officers on Sunday, June 15, at approximately 1 a.m. were dispatched to a private parking lot in the 200 block of East Brown Street for a call about a male damaging private property. The suspect, a 27-year-old Clinton Township man, told police that he destroyed the parking lot gate because he couldn’t get his vehicle out of the lot. He was arrested and charged with disturbing the peace and malicious destruction of property.
