Climber’s body recovered from Maroon Peak

The recovery followed a weeklong search and required a helicopter-assisted operation because of the peak’s technical terrain.

Mountain Rescue Aspen successfully recovered a body from the east face of Maroon Peak Tuesday after discovering the diseased climber last week.
