One person was arrested and at least twelve were injured last night in Hernani (Gipuzkoa), during the San Juan festivities. There were clashes, the Municipal Police asked the Ertzaintza for help to control the situation, and the latter attacked. There were injuries in the clashes and in the police attack. Mayor Xabier Lertxundi said the incidents occurred at different times and places, and that they are investigating whether there is a connection between them. The municipal police requested assistance from the Ertzaintza at around 03:30, and several people were injured when they attacked. The Department of Security announced that one person had been arrested for public disorder.
