Claro Brasil and Lynk test direct connection between satellite and cell phone in Maranhão

Claro Brasil, in partnership with Lynk Global, completed the first tests of direct communication between satellites and conventional smartphones in Brazil. The initiative, carried out in São Luís do Maranhão, is part of an effort by Anatel to expand connectivity in remote areas of the country.
