Clark County bans electric scooters on resort corridor sidewalks

At least eight riders have died while riding an electric scooter or bicycle on Southern Nevada roads in 2025. Two riders — including a 16-year-old — died last month in crashes involving electric scooters.

LAS VEGAS.-Unanimously Clark County commissioners approved Tuesday an amendment to the Clark County Code that includes regulations for the transit of bicycles and electric skateboards.
