Civil rights groups target Wentzville schools’ new transgender bathroom policy

Summary by Ground News
The Human Rights Campaign, in Washington, D.C., and PROMO, in Missouri, accused the board of not understanding transgender students. The policy is a thinly veiled attempt to discriminate against them, the groups said. Board members voted 5-2 on Thursday to require students, faculty and any person inside a district school building to use restrooms and locker rooms of their biological sex starting April 3.
