City sales-tax revenue drops slightly in January

January sales-tax revenue for the city of Steamboat Springs came in 2.42% lower than the same month last year, according to the final report released Monday by the city.  The difference amounts to roughly $113,000 and falls 1.42% under the city’s budgeted expectations for the month.
