City reminds residents over back-in parking practices

The city of Steamboat Springs is reminding residents and visitors about the proper use of the back-in, angle parking spaces on portions of Yampa Street. “Back-in parking provides a safer and more predictable environment for everyone on Yampa Street,” said Public Works Director Jon Snyder in a statement “It allows drivers to pull out into traffic with a clear view of cyclists and oncoming cars, instead of backing blindly into a busy travel lane.”…
