Starting next week, drivers in Chicago going over the speed limit will start getting warnings from new speed cameras at 16 locations around the city.

Since next week, in some areas of Chicago, speed cameras will start operating near schools and parks, the city reported. The 16 cameras that will be active will serve to warn drivers to exceed the speed limit and, if that is the case, will be fined. As of April 1, drivers will receive warnings.
