CARTHAGE, Mo. — A wrongful termination lawsuit filed by the former city manager of Carthage against the city last year was settled Tuesday at a cost of $275,000 to the city’s insurance carrier.

The City of Carthage announced on Tuesday it has settled its lawsuit with its former City Administrator Greg Dagnan. The settlement was authorized by Midwest Public Risk Management Fund – MPR – the company that provides liability insurance for the City of Carthage.
