Ciclovía Mapocho 42K: Inauguran new section of the project that will unite 11 communes of the Metropolitan Region - Revista Electricidad

The initiative originated in 2009 from a research by the PUC, which proposed the creation of an Integrated Park System for the city. This approach conceives the Mapocho River as a backbone of green infrastructure, linking the capital geographically and socially, improving its environmental quality and the lives of its inhabitants.
