The Church in Finland apologizes to the Sami people

The Church of Finland apologizes to the Sami people. This evening, the apology will be presented in Turku Cathedral.

The Archbishop of the Evangelical Lutheran Church has apologized to the Sami people during a reconciliation service in Turku.

The presidium of the Sámi Parliament will gather at the Cathedral on Thursday evening to hear Archbishop Tapio Luoma's apology on behalf of the Evangelical Lutheran Church.
