After years of silence, a new Hacking Team spyware has been detected. Dante spyware is developed by the Italian company now called Memento Labs. It has been spotted in a cyber espionage campaign exploiting a zero-day vulnerability of Google Chrome.
The Google Chrome zero-day vulnerability CVE-2025-2783 was exploited in the Operation Forum Troll attack campaign, targeting Russian organizations using the LeetAgent spyware developed by Memento Labs. The vulnerability allowed sandbox escape and the download of malicious tools, and was associated with the Dante spyware.
