On the 30th anniversary of the cover-up of the Reichstag building in Berlin, the artwork is to be re-created - but re-interpreted. Starting on Whit Monday, the Reichstag will be staged for twelve nights with a light installation. In June 1995, the artist couple Christo and Jeanne-Claude had packaged the Reichstag building in 100,000 square meters of silvery-glossy foil.

Even those too young to remember the event itself are familiar with the images of Christo wrapping the Reichstag in 1995. A major project is now planned to commemorate this event.
