Thousands of people filled the Upper Square in Olomouc on Sunday evening. The festive lighting of the decorated tree officially marked the start of this year's Christmas market. This year, a tall fir tree, named Štědřínek by children from an Olomouc kindergarten, lit up in front of the town hall.
