Hotel magnate Christiane Germain appointed head of Santé Québec board
A hotel magnate has been appointed as chairperson of the board of directors of Santé Québec, one of several pro-business appointments to the agency that will manage the province's beleaguered health system.
After the appointment of Geneviève Biron as head of Santé Québec, Christian Dubé appointed another “private top gun”, the businesswoman Christiane Germain, to chair the board of directors. Régine Laurent, Diane Lamarre, Stanley Vollant, and Lise Verreault also found a seat around the table.
Quebec announced Wednesday afternoon the members of the board of directors who will lead the new government agency Santé Québec.
The Legault government announced Wednesday the 15 members who will form the Board of Health Quebec, which will be chaired by businesswoman Christiane Germain.
