CHP launches 78-hour crackdown over Labor Day weekend
CHP is launching a 78-hour Labor Day Holiday Enforcement Period (HEP) to ensure that drivers are not driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. LAPD will also have additional officers on patrol from August 17 through Labor Day.
