CHOW receives $50k Grant

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. (WIVT/WBGH) - CHOW is getting a big boost as it prepares for its largest fundraiser of the year. Assemblywoman Donna Lupardo announced a $50k state grant for the Community Hunger Outreach Warehouse that supplies food pantries across Greater Binghamton. While CHOW regularly receives donations of non-perishable food from the public, its largest source is food recovery of items that have expired, but are still safe and good to eat.…
