Chloe Fineman Leaving SNL After Seven Seasons
Fineman is in talks to join Netflix’s Myron Bolitar after becoming one of SNL’s standout impressionists over seven seasons.
On Thursday, Chloe Fineman announced her departure from Saturday Night Live after seven seasons, writing "It's time for my next chapter" in an Instagram post.
Joining the show for the 2019-2020 season, Fineman gained prominence during pandemic-era "SNL @ Home" segments showcasing her celebrity impressions of Meryl Streep, Jennifer Coolidge, and Timothée Chalamet.
Viral sketches including "Snack Homiez" and the "Domingo" franchise alongside Marcello Hernandez showcased her range; she also provided voice work for Big Mouth and Despicable Me 4.
Fineman is in negotiations to join Netflix's Myron Bolitar, a drama series based on Harlan Coben's book series, alongside Colin Woodell, Apa, and Diane Guerrero.
Her exit precedes the 52nd season of Saturday Night Live this fall, following the standard trajectory of leaving after an initial seven-year contract; Kenan Thompson remains the longest-tenured cast member.
