Chinese Man Escapes Myanmar Scam Ring, Held in Thailand

Pictures courtesy of Khaosod A Chinese man has escaped a scam compound in Myanmar and swum across the Moei River into Thailand, only to be detained for illegal entry. The man, identified as 43-year-old Zhou, was intercepted by Thai soldiers on patrol in Phob Phra district, Tak Province, on 21 September 2025.
