China’s clean energy surge drives down emissions

CHINA, JUL 22 – Chinese clean-energy exports, including solar panels and EVs, reduced global CO2 emissions by 1% in 2024, avoiding 220 million tonnes annually, with further reductions expected from overseas projects.
