- During trials on the Fujian aircraft carrier, the J-15T, J-35 fighters, and KJ-600 early warning planes successfully performed takeoffs using the ship’s electromagnetic catapult system and completed arrested landings.
- Xinhua News Agency reported that Fujian has reached initial full-deck operational capability, enabling various types of aircraft to operate from the carrier as part of a modernized airwing.
- Fujian remains in testing and is intended to become China’s third carrier with a larger airwing, marking progress in China's naval aviation development and sea power projection.
