Chilton unemployment rate relatively the same in May - The Clanton Advertiser

By Carey Reeder | Managing Editor The Alabama Department of Workforce released its unemployment data for the month of May near the end of June, and Chilton County’s rate increased slightly. The county’s unemployment rate in May was 2.6%, a slight uptick from April’s 2.5% rate. This year’s May rate is higher than May 2024’s rate at 2.2%.
