Over 30 charges have been brought against parents who let their children ride electric scooters that are too fast and too powerful so far this year. The most common explanation: All their friends ride the same ones. “As a parent, you have to have the courage to say no,” says Fredric Karnerfors, a police officer in Gothenburg.
