The La Rochelle Public Prosecutor's Office requested four years of suspended prison and the abolition of the driving licence for five years against the retired woman who had killed Margot, 10 years old, and seriously injured seven other children.
The 83-year-old motorist who hit a group of 12 children on a bicycle on 5 June 2024, Avenue Coligny in La Rochelle, appeared this Tuesday for manslaughter and involuntary injuries, and the offence of escape. At the bar, she claims to remember nothing. Four years of suspended prison were required.
