Child sex crime suspect arrested in Cisco

CISCO, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) - A child sex crime suspect has been arrested in Cisco. Nicholas Dwayne Honea, 20, of Cisco was booked into the Eastland County Jail for Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child Under the Age of 14 last month. Police notified the public of his arrest Thursday. Honea remains held in jail, and police say additional charges against Honea are expected. No further information is available at this time.

Man faces 11 charges of child sex crime

A Taylorsville man is facing multiple charges of child sex crimes, according to local law enforcement. The Alexander County Sheriff’s Office arrested Codi Lynn Sharp, W/M, age 53 of Taylorsville. He was charged with eleven counts of Second-Degree Sexual Exploitation of a Minor. Sharp was assigned a first court appearance of April 21, 2025, and a $1,050,000.00 secured bond.
