The latest Epidemiologic Bulletin of Public Health France, published on 14 May 2025, reveals a significant decrease in chikungunya-related activity in La Réunion from 5 to 11 May 2025. However, although the figures show a decrease in consultations and passages to emergencies, the epidemic remains worrying, particularly with the persistence of imported cases and the risk of local transmission in France.
