A fire broke out in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) of the district hospital affiliated with SIMS Medical College in Chhindwara on Friday-Saturday night due to a short circuit. The incident is reported to have occurred between 2 and 3 am. Three children admitted to the NICU were burned in the fire.
