Chessington World of Adventures Closed Due to Water Outage
Thames Water said repairs were under way after a burst main cut services, and the park revalidated tickets for affected visitors.
Chessington World of Adventures closed on Monday after a burst water main disrupted operations in the KT9 area of Surrey.
Thames Water crews located the damaged pipe on Leatherhead Road, confirming the burst is affecting customers throughout the KT9 area.
Projections from Queue Times indicated the park was expected to reach "packed" 77% capacity on Monday before the closure occurred.
Guests impacted by the disruption will have their tickets automatically revalidated under the park's Return Promise; those seeking refunds are directed to the Chessington Help Centre.
Temperatures are set to hit 35C in London while parts of Kent will see highs above 30C, with The Met Office considering a rare red health alert.
