Unlike Central and Southern Europe, temperatures in Scandinavia rarely exceed 30 degrees Celsius. This mild climate attracts more and more tourists who flee the summers of caniculia. In other words, the fashion is "cooling", a contraction of "cool" (fresh) and "vacations" (vacation).
The hotel industry in almost all major cities in Norway has had a brilliant first half of the year. Now the time has come for the tourist influx of all time. – It's a "coolcation" for every penny, says Strawberry CEO Torgeir Silseth.
