As the investigations continue to find the torch of Vix, stolen in broad daylight, on 24 July, at the Musée du Pays Châtillonnais, we learn that a patron was made known, the next day, to the town hall. He offered a reward for the thieves, in order "to prevent this treasure from being melted for its gold".
