CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — An American Airlines flight from New York to Charlotte was diverted to Philadelphia Sunday evening. The airline says flight AA3221 was diverted due to a possible mechanical issue. Thankfully, the plan landed safely and the maintenance team is conducting an inspection of the aircraft.
