Chargers Receiver Ladd McConkey Misses Practice because of Foot Injury
Ladd McConkey and Derwin James Jr. were limited in Wednesday practice, and Keaton Mitchell was added with an ankle injury after a boot was seen.
The Los Angeles Chargers face uncertainty for Sunday's matchup against the Seattle Seahawks as wide receiver Ladd McConkey and defensive back Derwin James Jr. appeared on the team's first Week 4 injury report.
Searching for their first win of the 2026 season, the 0-3 Chargers have struggled offensively, failing to score more than 16 points in any of their first three games.
McConkey missed Thursday's practice with a foot injury, while James remained limited Wednesday with a hamstring issue; running back Keaton Mitchell was added to the report with an ankle injury.
Should these starters remain sidelined, wide receivers Quentin Johnston and Tre Harris could see expanded roles, while safeties Tony Jefferson, Genesis Smith, and Mickens are primary alternatives.
Neither McConkey nor James has been officially ruled out for Sunday, as both players have two more opportunities to practice before the team travels to Lumen Field for the matchup.
