Sun Yat-sen School head Chang Ya-chung announces bid for KMT chair - Focus Taiwan

Taipei, May 22 (CNA) Chang Ya-chung (張亞中), head of the Sun Yat-sen School, announced Thursday he will run for chair of the main opposition Kuomintang (KMT).

Chang Ya-chung, president of Sun Yat-sen University, held a press conference on the 22nd to announce his candidacy for KMT chairman. He stressed that the KMT must be reformed internally, so if elected as party chairman, he will initiate three measures, including digital transformation, rebuilding ideological beliefs, and rebuilding KMT policies. He also promised that if elected, he would promote four major policies.
