Champions League highlights - Slavia Prague 1-2 Arsenal
Arsenal moved up to third in the league phase after first-half goals from Noni Madueke and Viktor Gyokeres sealed a third win in four matches.
On Wednesday, Arsenal defeated Slavia Prague 2-1 in the Champions League, with Noni Madueke and Viktor Gyokeres scoring in the first half to secure a commanding victory.
Mikel Arteta's side entered the match riding high after a 1-0 Premier League win against Liverpool last Sunday, extending their unbeaten run across competitions.
Madueke opened the scoring in the 9th minute with a clinical finish, before Gyokeres added a superb second in the 38th minute to establish Arsenal's dominance early.
Wiktor Nowak pulled a goal back on 90 minutes from inside the area, though the late consolation effort proved insufficient as Arsenal held firm for victory.
The win moves the Gunners into third place in the Champions League league-phase standings, extending their unbeaten away record in the competition to ten matches since May 2025.
Arsenal continues its run in the Champions League, with the English champions also passing (1-2) at Slavia Prague, staying in the highest positions of the League Phase.
