La Paz, Jul 5 (Prensa Latina) The disapproval of a service contract with a Chinese company to build two lithium industrializing plants puts Bolivia at risk of losing a strategic opportunity in this market, said today an official source. The Bolivian government has asserted that the contracts the country sought to process this Friday began in 2021 and are not recent agreements, as the opposition and Evo supporters maintain. This follows a contentious session in Congress that had to be suspended following clashes between several deputies during the debate seeking approval of several of these contracts.
