In Chad, the opponent Success Masra has been in detention for four months. Arrested at dawn at his home on 16 May, he was sentenced on 9 August to 20 years in prison and 1 billion CFA francs in damages for spreading hate and xenophobic messages and complicity in murder in the Mandakao case. This massacre had cost the lives of some 40 people in a village in the south of the country, two days before the opponent's arrest.
