The Minister of Labour, Solidarity and Social Security confirmed today the existence of an error of the General Box of Retirement (GAC) in the calculation of almost 3,000 pensions, in advance that the values paid extra will have to be returned.
The affected pensioners are being notified and have 10 days to consult and challenge the process. The error in the calculation affects about 3,000 pensions.
Almost 3,000 pensioners will be receiving less after the General Retirement Fund has detected an error in the calculation of reforms allocated between May and August.

The clarification comes after several media outlets have reported that the CGA will correct 2,937 pensions awarded between May and August of this year, after having detected an error in the calculation that led to them being fixed above the value provided for in the law.
