Ceredo Town Council approves first reading on new stalking, harassment ordinance

CEREDO — The Ceredo Town Council, during its regular meeting Monday, July 7, approved the first of two readings of a new ordinance concerning stalking and harassment. Ceredo Mayor Paul Billups said during the meeting that the town already has an ordinance making it a municipal violation to harass people through phone calls, but it does not yet have a town ordinance specifically for instances that occur in person.
