HUNTINGTON — Explorer Academy will not open for the first day of the 2025-26 school year on Wednesday along with the rest of the Cabell County Schools, the district announced Tuesday.

Central Cambria School District To Start School A Little Later Due To Mold

Students within the Central Cambria School District will get two extra days of summer vacation after the school board voted to revise the academic calendar in response to mold cleanup.  Last month, mold was found on desks and chairs at the elementary school.  The new start date has been scheduled for August 25th to give the district more time to clean the mold.  During last night’s school board meeting the board also approved the purchase of 25 …
