Look: Mattel Unveils 'Titanic'-Inspired Celine Dion Barbie Doll
The collectible doll features Dion’s 1998 Oscars look and costs £69.99, with Mattel saying it honors her career milestone.
Mattel has created a new Barbie Signature Celine Dion doll, available for sale now for £69.99. The collectible figure honors the five-time Grammy winner's iconic career.
The doll's design pays tribute to the navy, long-sleeved dress Dion wore at the 1998 Academy Awards, paired with a "heart of the ocean" necklace inspired by the 1997 blockbuster Titanic.
With nearly 260 million albums sold worldwide, Dion joins stars like Mariah Carey and Tina Turner who have also received Barbie likenesses. She is one of pop music's most decorated artists.
This release follows Dion's emotional return to the stage last month at the Plenitude Arena in Paris after stepping away in 2022 due to a diagnosis of SPS. She performed 16 shows.
"It is a true honour to join the Barbie legacy," Dion said, expressing hope the doll inspires fans to express themselves with confidence and believe in their own voices.
