Rain has ruined the heavyweight showdown between the Sixers and Heat in Coffs Harbour with the grand final rematch washed out without a ball being bowled in a big blow to the defending champions’ hopes of making the finals.
There will be no basketball match between Cedevita Olimpija and Lietkabelis Panevežys today. As announced by the Ljubljana club, the basketball players will not arrive in Lithuania until the scheduled time due to weather problems.
Cedevita Olimpija's basketball players should step on the floor this Thursday for the first time in the new year. In the 13th round of the regular part of the EuroCup, they should have hit Lietkabelis in Panevežys at 19.00 CET, but they failed to reach Panevežys due to complications with the transport from Belgrade, the club said. Both clubs and the competition management are still looking for the best solution when to play the match.
